At the YMCA, kids develop all of their skills, from catching and dribbling to teamwork and sportsmanship. Just as important, they learn firsthand the benefits of being healthy & active and that virtual games just can't compare to the real thing. Youth Sports are offered year-round and always need great coaches. Use your talents to encourage, guide and train young athletes at the Y!
5 on 5 Basketball League
This league is open to anyone over 18 looking for some fun competition on the court. Games will be played on a full court and there will be a Competitive Division and Recreational Division. Teams are guaranteed 6 regular season games and there will be a single-elimination tournament the last week.
Games are played in the gym on Sundays between 3:00-6:00pm.
A $100 deposit must be made by 9/3 to reserve your team’s spot. Team captain will be asked to turn in fee and collect money from teammates - final total is due the first week of games. Jerseys/shirts are included for players.
Offered in spring and fall seasons.
Youth basketball is an exciting sport combining team play and individual skills. YMCA youth basketball promises no try outs, no getting cut and no bench warmers! Every child plays at least half of every game while making friends and learning new techniques.
Offered in the winter season.
It's A Big Dill
A paddle sport created for all ages and skill levels. The rules are simple and the game is easy for beginners to learn, but can develop into a quick, fast-paced, competitive game for experienced players. Pickleball is a fun sport that combines many elements of tennis, badminton and ping-pong.
