Your Personal Trainer will develop a workout program specifically designed to help you attain your fitness goals.
Personal Training programs include:

Meet the Trainers
I am a certified personal trainer through Aerobics and Fitness Association of America (AFAA). Prior to my current certification, I was certified through World Instructor Training Schools (WITS) and was employed as a personal trainer and group fitness instructor on Cape Cod, MA.
During my time on the Cape, I trained a full spectrum of clients. My clientele included high school athletes, fitness competitors, marathon runners, and all ages looking to improve their overall health and wellness with strength training and education.
I was born and raised on Cape Cod, MA. I received my AA from Cape Cod Community College and my BA from UMASS-Boston.
I have competed in two marathons and two bodybuilding shows.
I believe exercise should be both fun and relevant to one’s everyday life.
I am a certified personal trainer and group exercise instructor with 25 years experience. Recently retired from the teaching profession, I continue to work in the fitness industry teaching classes and training individual clients. I have experience working with members who require modifications as well as those who desire core training with an emphasis on posture and balance.
I became a Certified Personal Trainer in 2017 through the National Academy of Sports Medicine (NASM) after falling in love with fitness in my late 20's. I grew up in a household where health was not very important. After having my son and losing a handful of loved ones to preventable illnesses, I decided that I needed to set a better example than my parents set for me. I joined the YMCA and along with healthy eating habits, I lost 80 lbs. It was at the YMCA that I realized I wanted to help others lead healthier lifestyles as well.
My favorite way to workout is in group classes so you can often find me taking a barre, yoga, kickboxing, or BodyPump class. In addition to personal training I teach interval type classes and P90x LIVE. I love writing fun workouts for my clients so they always look forward to our sessions!
I am a Certified Personal Trainer through the Aerobics and Fitness Association of America (AFAA) and have been certified since 2013. I also have 10 years of experience teaching fitness classes. I have taught a little bit of everything including Pilates, Strength training, HIIT, Spinning, Floor Aerobics, SilverSneakers, and Step. My favorite classes are Pilates, SilverSneakers, and Spinning!
I am native to North Carolina and grew up in Raleigh. I have been married since August, 1999 and have two children. I have B.A. in Communication Studies from the University of North Carolina at Wilmington and a M.A. in Christian Education from Asbury Theological Seminary in Kentucky. I have been an avid fitness enthusiast for as long as I can remember. I played soccer for 7 years as a child and currently enjoy running for my personal exercise. In January 2017 I made a goal for myself to run one 5k or 10k each month of the year! I thoroughly enjoy working with clients, teaching classes, and motivating others. I also love to learn new things! My philosophy is that exercise should be fun and incorporated into daily activity! I have worked with clients of various ages and stages of life.
I am ceritfied with ACE. I love teaching people how to use weight training for strength and bodyshaping. I also specialize in pre/postnatal fitness. My background consists of working with Arthritis, Sports Specific, and Older Adults.
I became an NASM-certified personal trainer after embarking on my own fitness journey that ended up positively influencing every aspect of my life. Through my youth and through college, I competed in a number of MMA competitions and studied Krav Maga. After graduating from the University of Connecticut in 2016 with a Psychology degree, I worked with a number of clients in order to promote positive behavioral change, ensure the development of lasting-habits, and to help them maintain the motivation needed to achieve their goals. I'm excited to bring that knowledge to the fitness industry in order to help others bring the same positive changes into their life!
