Schedule your Orientation
A FREE equipment orientation is offered to all members. Equipment orientation includes instructions to use the fitness equipment in the Cardio and Weight Resistance rooms safely and effectively. Spin your heart out!
Learn everything you need to know about Spinning in this one time class. You will learn the mechanics of the bike, proper set- up and safety precautions, and so much more. Practice your newfound skills with a short group ride. Space is limited.

TRX Functional Training
The TRX Suspension Trainer is a performance training tool that leverages gravity and the user’s body weight to enable hundreds of exercises for every fitness goal. Paired with exciting equipment, suspension training develops strength, balance, flexibility, and core stability simultaneously, all at the intensity you choose.
Plates and Weights
Ditch the diet for good! During this program you will learn the difference between weight loss and fat loss, as well as the hormones responsible. Each week will include a group workout followed by an information session focused on key nutrition and lifestyle points. This will allow for you to gain an intimate understanding of your unique metabolic blueprint and learn how to balance your metabolic hormones for optimal and sustainable fat loss. This program includes pre and post session measurements and a binder to store all of your information. This class is lead by Kira Parker, Metabolic Effect certified Level III Hormonal Nutrition Consultant.
Whether you are brand new to fitness or a veteran wellness seeker looking for new workout ideas, YMCA Personal Trainers are trained and certified to provide you with safe and effective workouts. Your Personal Trainer will develop a workout program specifically designed to help you attain your fitness goals.
Teen Certification is for teens ages 12-15 years old. Teens will learn the appropriate knowledge, skills and abilities to properly use the cardio equipment and the resistance machines.
This does not allow teens under16 to use the free weight room.
Teen Certification meets the Second Thursday of every month at 5:30pm.

A fun yoga class for kids ages 5-10! During this class, kids will be taught, with the help of music and props, a variety of poses and breathing techniques that will help build strength, confidence, flexibility, and calmness.

Special Needs Zumba
Special Needs Zumba® helps children and adults of all abilities benefit from physical fitness and group interaction.
Students and mentors are encouraged to participate together. This fun social party-like workout is appropriate for both male and female individuals with all forms of physical and mental special needs. Modifications and progressions will be provided. This program is absolutely free to all TWIN RIVERS YMCA members and non-members. Please come dressed in non-restrictive workout attire. Closed toe gym shoes are required to participate.
Participants will meet on Wednesdays from 5:00-5:45pm. Participants will meet in the Multi-Purpose room and class will be led by our licensed Zumba® Instructor, April Daniels.
Join Lucas for a safe, effective, and most importantly, fun workout with our TRX suspension trainer. This class involves working your whole body with just a couple straps. The basic movements involve push, pull, rotate, plank, squat, lunge, and hinge. This class is designed for those between the ages of 12 and 15 years old.
