Red Cross Lifeguarding
Train to be a lifeguard, learn lifesaving skills, help people stay safe in, on and around the water. Course covers rescues, spinal management, CPR & AED, First Aid, and characteristics of a professional lifeguard. Participant must be 15 years of age by the last class and pass pre test. Class is limited to 10 participants, with a minimum of 4 participants. All classes must be attended, make-ups are not allowed.
- 15 years of age by last scheduled class
- Parental consent for participant under age 18
- 300 yard swim; Tread water for 2 minutes using legs only
- Surface dive head first and feet first in 8-9 feet of water
- Swim under water for 15 feet
- 10lb. Weight Retrieval

Red Cross First Aid, CPR & AED
Become Red Cross CPR & First Aid certified. This comprehensive, single-day, course offers up-to-date information on adult and pediatric CPR, AED, and First Aid. Participant must be 15 years of age. Class is limited to 10 participants, with a minimum of 4 registered. This is a blended class which will require an online portion to be completed before the class date. Participants must register at least one week prior to class date.
